Christmas '07

Got to go home to Colorado for Christmas! It SNOWED a TON! TWO huge blizzards while I was home! Spent lots of time sleeping and hanging out w/ my parents and brother, tons of fun! Got to see my good friend Michelle and her precious little kids in Loveland right before we almost got snowed in!

The Word of the Lord

I can not get over how incredibly amazing God is to give us exactly what we need exactly when we need it. I have time and time again this year been in tough situations that on a normal day if you asked me how I'd handle them, I'd have no clue. But the Lord has been SO incredibly faithful to give me the words when I've needed words and given me wisdom when I've needed wisdom and shut my mouth when I've needed to just listen.

I come out of so many conversations hardly remembering what I've said or done because it has been the Lord speaking through me. I thank God for His faithfulness and for the blessing and privelege it is to be here at Trevecca as a Resident Director.

I love my girls. They are such blessings in my life!

My prayer is that the Lord will be glorified in everything that I do. I don't want people to look at me and say how great I am, but to look at me and say how great God is! He is absolutely worthy of our praise and dedication!

My Fam '07

I got to see Mel this fall for a Women of Faith conference in Orlando and got to meet baby Noah for the first time! It was such a great weekend spending time with my amazing sister! Then we all got to be together for Thanksgiving in Kansas City at Brad's house! Such a fun time with everyone! I'm extremely blessed to have my family! One of the best times spending time together lately! The next time we are all together, we'll have a new addition to teach Aquire and Rook!

I really could not have ever asked God for a better place to be right now. I absolutely love my job. I can not imagine being in any other job right now that would be more perfect for me. My girls are wonderful and all the people here are great! I miss my family and friends FOR SURE but I have found myself another place to call home for this time in my life!

Fall at TNU 07

I can't begin to describe my first fall here at Trevecca! It has been incredibly memorable! I have met some amazing young people and had so many fun times! It's so neat to be on this side of college, still young enough to remember it but old enough to not care about curfew :) I have an amazing RA staff. Each lady is unique and beautiful and wonderful! It's lonely sometimes without people who know me well, but slowly I'm starting to make some great friendships here too! God has stretched me in incredible ways this fall, I could have never imagined all the things He would teach me. I am so thankful for the opportunity to be here and look forward to what He will continue to teach me and the relationships that I will gain and hopefully the lives that the Lord will allow me to influence!
